Our members are already busy working hard on the upcoming school year. Football games are fast approaching, which once again means get ready for the helmet car washes, banners, and tailgates. We have set our goals high for the 2007-2008 school year and are counting on each and every member’s help. Watch for upcoming events and meetings!!

Who Are We?
Mizzou’s Student Athletic Board (SAB), founded at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the late 1970s, is a dedicated and spirited student organization that promotes and assists the University of Missouri Athletic Department in a number of important ways. We represent the student body when opinions regarding athletics are requested, run the basketball and football student ticket lotteries and perform community service activities, including visits with Truman the Tiger to local children’s hospitals.
What Do We Do?
Our game-day responsibilities include handing out promotional spirit items before athletic events (foam tiger paws, pom pons and growl towels) and holding the on-field football banner during kickoff. SAB is also in charge of driving the Mizzou football helmet car during games and in various statewide parades throughout the summer.
SAB follows the Tigers on the road by traveling to at least one away football and basketball game each year. We are also a proud supporter of Mizzou’s non-revenue sports and attend a wide range of Tiger athletic events ranging from soccer and softball to track and baseball.
