The University of Missouri's intramural program provides
the opportunity for students to compete in over 20
organized sports through three seasons of play. The
fraternities are divided into two divisions, Division
I containing the larger fraternities and Division
II containing the smaller fraternities. Beta Theta
Pi falls into the Division I bracket and has won the
Fraternity Intramural Championships 29 times in the
past 37 years, never finishing lower than third place.
In 1999 the Betas managed to take an incredible first
place in every sport except volleyball! Such a feat
is a credit to the men at Beta Theta Pi and their
drive to be the best in every area they compete in.
The Betas take great pride in remaining atop the intramural
rankings, but it is the effort that these records
represent that truly captures the essence of the Beta
Spirit.
