We're looking forward to a great year and thanks to all of you who applied. There will also be several position open in the fall that anyone is welcome to apply for. We'll need committee chairs, a Programming Coordinator and an NCC In-Training.

2008 Scholarship Applications Now Being Accepted
Applications are now being accepted for the 2008 RHA Scholarship. Five $1000 scholarships will be awarded to students who are currently living in a residence hall and will continue to live in one next year as well.
All applications are due by April 18th at 5:00 pm in the RHA Office, located at 1180 Center Hall. The application, along with the complete requirements, can be found by clicking here or navigating to the documents section of this website.
Monday, March 10th's Internal, External, and Communication Committees, along with Congress will be in the MARK TWAIN BALLROOM located in Memorial Union North.
If you are ever confused about where a meeting is located, PLEASE check the "calendar" page by clicking "calendar" to the left.
New President/VP Elects
Congratulations to the new President and Vice President elects, Bobby Wood and Nate Ballance. Bobby and Nate will be sworn in at the end of the year.
Congratulations to Christopher Gonzales and Tim Franklin on a great campaign as well.
Thanks to all that came out to the RHA Ball on Friday night for a great meal and a fun time. External Chair Laura, Communications Chair Michelle and Programming Coordinator Lara all did a wonderful job coordinating and putting on the event! It really couldn't have been better. Kirsten Kennedy delivered a wonderful keynote address.
RHA week was an unprecedented success, and the Executive Board would like to thank all of you who made the week possible, whether you helped work the events or attended them.

RHA Iron Chef Competition 2008
The Residence Halls Association is teaming up with CDS to bring you the second annual Mizzou Iron Chef! The competition will be held on Thursday, February 21 at 4.30pm in Brady Food Court. Applications can be obtained by clicking here or by contacting the RHA Communications Chair Michelle Pais (MichellePais@mizzou.edu). Email completed applications to Michelle Pais.
Please keep in mind that participants must apply in groups and that no individuals will be considered. All contestants will receive a free apron and t-shirt with this year's Iron Chef Logo on it, along with $50 gift cards going each member of the winning team.
Each team will be paired with a sous-chef from one of Mizzou's CDS establishments and will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges. Free refreshments will be available to all audience members and the first 50 audience members will receive a complimentary t-shirt as well.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to say thank you for everyone who came out for Open Mic Night. You guys rule.
Also, we will be having a full congress meeting on Monday, November 26. So, enjoy your break and we look forward to seeing you when we all return.

When: Wednesday, November 14. 7PM - 9PM
Where: In the main lounge of Memorial Union North. (Next to the new Starbucks)
The first 10 people to sign up will receive 10 minutes slots. So, come perform your heart out. You can sing, dance, or play an instrument. You can perform stand up comedy or poetry readings. The stage is yours for 10 minutes to shine.
If you would like to sign up, send an email to Michelle Pais (mkpthf@mizzou.edu). Make sure to include your name, e-mail address, what you plan to perform and the estimated length of time your performance will require.
